Astons

Went to meet a group of my SIM friends for luncheon at Astons, located opposite Katong mall. e surrounding is quite ulu (desserted). Hmm.. I ordered terriyaki chicken set, includes 2 sides which I chose potato salad & french fries. e sauce is too sweet for my liking though..overall, e food is so-so only. Not really that fantastic. Here are some pics of our lunch:

One of them gave me a pouch.. I thought it was just an ordinary pouch, but when I opened it, there are different types of Royce chocolates & mini cookies, & some keropok from Taipei. Oh my god.. I was surprised & pai seh (embarrassed). Worse still, I was e only one who was given this, which makes my face even redder than e chili sauce I had dumped on my plate. Aiyo.. it was not even my birthday, Hari raya, Deepavali, Chinese new yr, April fool's day or what-so-ever. I felt even more malu.. but so sweet.. I have already started on e goodies. haha

Hmm.. I have ate many varieties, types of chocolates ever since my baby teeth grown. Lol. Most of e chocolates I had eaten are very hard to bite into, taste so-so only. There is also a risk of being bogei (all teeth drop out) when u eat chocolates. However.. I found e perfect chocolate which not only taste gd, it is also not as hard as frozen pizza. It is e chocolates from Royce. I think there is an outlet at e basement of Takashimaya, & at Suntec city. e average price per small packet is $14. Godiva chocolates tastes like e normal chocolates.. I don't feel anything special when i bit into them, & they are hard, for some. I have only tried several Godiva chocolates, so my opinion will only be based on those I ate.

Well.. my description of Royce chocolates is that it is smooth, creamy, deliciously tender texture, rich in flavour.. which melts beautifully in your mouth without e risk of your teeth falling out. e heavenly sensation lingers on your tastebuds.. Hopefully they will retain this quality & standard.. or improve it. hehe :D
