Dinner at Werner’s oven at upper east coast road. Its cuisine is German food. I ordered grilled pork sausage set which costs $19.50, while my friend ordered pork knuckles set at e same price. Our sets include mashed potato & sauerkraut (sour cabbage). Well.. my sausage when it was cut, oozes a nice soupy gravy. Sausage is tender, not bad. e mashed potato.. it is soft & fluffy, which makes it kind of dry, I prefer my mashed potatos to be a bit denser. I don’t really like e sauerkraut, e sour cabbage though.. my friend agrees with me on that. e pork knuckles is surprisingly good. However, there are quite a lot of fats in between e chunky meat.
After e meal, we headed to somewhere around upper Thomson road to eat dessert cakes. Ordered a royal chocolate & a chocolate fudge. Not bad, they are chocolaty & rich in flavour. When we took hold of e plates, we immediately start to polish them off.. so I forgot to take a pic of them.. -_- What to do.. my stomach comes first. Hehehe :D
