Went to Compass Point mall at Sengkang mrt station. Walked around & bought a small packet of oatmeal with raisins & cinnamon cookies at Famous Amos. I ate macadamia with chocolate chips, macadamia alone & e butterscotch before. But I personally prefer these oatmeal cookies, as it is not too sweet like the others & it is fantastically delicious.

Friend arrived & she ate a cheesy dog set, which also includes mashed potatoes & a drink. After e meal, she bought several donuts & immediately started to attack them furiously. If she had confessed to me that she had not eaten for 2 days, I might believe her right then. We then proceed to walk e distance of 2 bus stops to our secondary sch, our alumni, to catch a performance. I have not step foot in e sch for like 6 or 7 years ever since I graduated. I got all hay-wired & felt jittery outside. I saw 3 or 4 teachers who are still teaching there. e rest of my teachers are either posted elsewhere or retired. e teachers whom I really wish to see.. weren’t there anymore. Even e principal & e vice-principal have changed.

We chatted with e teachers there & proceeded to e air-conditioned hall upstairs. e performance was superb! It exceeded my expectations. e performance theme was A midsummer’s night dream. I watched e movie before many years ago. Anyway, e performance was full of talented students, everything was great. It was well worth e $25 paid. We screamed wildly, clapped loud & hard just like every other female in e hall. Hehe. We were taught how to cheer, scream madly during our sec sch days anyway. Lol. It was fun & totally cool. I saw e band playing too.. & I felt a sense of nostalgia. I was in e military band during my sec sch years.. I played e flute. Unfortunately, as so many years have passed since then, I do not know any of the band members & they, of course, do not know me either. I can only stare at them from a distance, enjoying their music & admiring e flutes which I once used to play. e band uniform has been revamped. It looks much better & more comfy now. It has also changed from military band to a concert band, which removes the marching part. It is ironic that after I graduated, then e change for e better begun :-P

After e performance, we went back to Compass point to eat our late dinner at Sakae sushi. Tired out, but happy. I asked her whether she would like to join me & our friend, to a week in Europe for a holiday next June. She said ok, provided that e tour is a small group. Lol. I took several pics, but e pics of my sch were pretty dark, so I will just put e pic of one particular staircase, & a pic of e lockers (many lockers on each level), which I used during sec sch :D
