Went to North point at Yishun with family.. bro has got a night’s out from an army camp for 2-3hrs.. so we decided to hang out with him & eat dinner together. Hehe. But.. minus e 45mins of dad getting lost on e road.. we left like 2hrs or less..-_-
I walked e entire food court.. but was still undecided on what to eat. Until I chanced upon a dish named fried mee tai bak. I remembered I often ate mee tai bak with soup during my childhood days.. I haven’t eaten that ever since like.. Sec 2.. -_-
I ate that e fried mee tai bak for dinner. It was sshhiiookkk! Lol. Quite delicious. I’m a slow eater, as I like to enjoy my food as long as I can. Lol. But for this dish, I polished it off within 10mins.. maybe because I’m also hungry la. Ahahaha
Ate lunch at Miss clarity cafe at Upper thomson road. Ordered a roasted chix leg with potato and mushroom fricassee. Lunch menu is from 11am to 3pm. So its $13.80 for my set which comes with salad/soup, dessert ice cream & a drink. If having e meal at other timings, must add an additional $3.80 for a set meal. However, there is neither service charge nor gst.
For my set.. I found the chicken leg a bit tough.. & also a bit tasteless. But I like e mushroom & e potato fricassee. However, after continuously eating that for awhile.. it becomes a little unbearable for my taste buds. e meal was very filling, since I also ate e side salad & ice cream which are included in the set.
Hmm.. but overall, I think e food at Miss clarity cafe located at Purvis street taste nicer. Hopefully.. they will have mini set meals in the future. I felt quite bloated after e meal. Luckily e button on my jeans didn’t give way :D
Ate dinner with grandma at Hans, its 24hrs at e upper thomson road outlet. e food is not really that nice.. Plus.. my meal is fish & chips set.. I was served fish & potato wedges instead. Oh god.. obviously, they do not understand e meaning of chips. It wasn’t named for fun. Chips are chips. Wedges are wedges. Chimpanzees are not monkeys. Mee pok is not mee sua. Please do read e dictionary.. if too lazy, just read until e letter C for Chips. Good enough.
Most of e food prices has increased.. not only at Hans.. -_- why is everything increasing these few mths.. darn.. even teh, a simple tea with milk also has a price increment. I renamed e increases as legal daylight & night robberies :-P No lawyer can help us.. -_-
Went dinner with aunt & cousin at parkway parade. Ate at Crystal jade. Food was ok.. not bad. My favourite was e salad prawns. Hehe. Quite tired.. have been out for e past few days.. Thank you everyone.. for everything.. I especially love e quality time spent with all of u.. family, relatives & friends :) Thanks for e wonderful memories.. :D
After class, dad drove me to Jalan kayu to get durian cake from Jane’s cake station. For e small chocolate or durian cakes, u can just walk in without ordering in advance. e small durian cake was $38, whereas e small chocolate cake was $30. I bought e durian cake, as I already had eaten chocolate cake for e past few days on a daily basis, which my friends bought a few days ago. Hehe.
Although I don’t eat e durian fruit.. durian cakes & durian puffs I can still make an exception.. provided they taste nice & won’t make me lau sai. Lol. e cake is rich with durian.. fresh.. not too sweet.. moist.. & very delicious. Everyone who tried e cake commented that it tastes good. hehe.
For dinner, as my brother came home late, we ate at e Sakura buffet just beside Yio chu kang stadium. $28 each for dinner on weekends. Quite crowded.. had to wait for seats inside. We enjoyed our dinner.. I loved e bonding, lots of crapping around & silly jokes. Had an awesome time today :)
After class, a friend & I made our way to Vivocity at harbourfront to have lunch. We ate at Earle’s swensen. Ordered lunch set meals which includes e buffet salad bar, ice cream & coffee/tea. e last time I ate there, there was potato salad, ham included in e salad buffet bar. However, this time.. e salad bar is a disappointment. For e main course, e chicken was quite hard & bland.. Might as well I have chicken rice at a coffeeshop, which I probably feel more satisfying. Lol. Well.. overall.. e food was not so good. e manager serving us was horrid. In my personal opinion as usual.. e quality, food, service.. failed.. -_-
After lunch, we catch a movie titled Tropic Thunder. Not really that funny as I expected. But I’m happy about one thing. e movie was rated M18. & no one asked for my IC for checking. Hehe. Not that I’m younger than 18.. I’m way older than that. That’s why I get a little pissed when I get asked to produce my IC whenever I’m watching either NC16 or M18 movies. Lol.
Had dinner with a friend at Nihon Mura, located at e Cathay, which is a few mins walk from Plaza singapura. Shared stories, advice & lessons learnt, Hehe. Food was.. passable. Lol. Nothing fantastic, but alright.
Ate a lunch of pizzas with a few friends at pepperoni pizzeria, L’Estaminet, located at 6 greenwood avenue, at bukit timah road. e pizzas were good, there is also no gst nor service charge. Hehe. My friends surprised me with a chocolate fudge cake from Lana’s cake shop just a few doors down. I was so embarrassed.. I think my face colour was equivalent to a baboon’s red ass -_- e cake is not bad.. moist.. but a bit too sweet. Other than that, it taste alright. Hehe.
After eating some cake, we played Jenga, e place provides games too, though a few only. Lol. One of them suggested that whoever topples e towering blocks would have to write our names in e air using our butts.. regardless of other customers in e shop. Lol. :-P Fortunately, I didn’t have to do that at all. Not that I’m a spoilsport.. I don’t mind doing that for fun.. but I just ate slices of pizzas & chocolate fudge cake for God’s sake.. Do u think my butt can manage to even sway gracefully to an alphabet? Haha. Probably after doing that, next day, my ass would be famous in youtube.. for e wrong reasons.. :-P

Supposed to have dinner with family at Miss clarity café at Upper Thomson road. However, it was not open on Mondays.. & neither was Herbs & spices. So we went to a new eatery just a few doors down, called Hooked, fresh catch daily. It was a little expensive.. but there is no service charge, only gst. e food is good, not bad. Even my family agreed. Fresh & delicious. Satisfying for our bellies. Lol.
Dinner with a bunch of friends at Chomp Chomp located in Serangoon gardens. I forgot to take pics of e tantalizing satay & e bbq stingray -_- what a pity. (Although I didn’t forget to eat them.) We ordered some dishes twice, especially e yummy satay. Very shiok. Had a fun time together, filled with constant streams of laughter.. which I think can be heard by e surrounding tables.. hahaha. Well.. we had more fun than them anyway. Lol :D
