After work, I went to city hall, e Raffles shopping centre to meet my friend. We ate at Shokudo Japanese food bazaar. It is a Japanese eatery with marche style concept, has of varieties of food. I didn’t take any photos even though I remembered this time, simply because e food is not good at all. Personally speaking.. I would rather spend my money elsewhere for better quality & standard of jap food. e food is a bit more expensive than say.. like Ichiban sushi or Sakae sushi. That aside, e food is.. haiz.. small portions. Even I was shocked that e tempura prawns were three-quarters e size of a regular, normal tempura at other cheaper jap restaurants. e food is not nice either. e chanamushi is $3, e portion is smaller than e ones at Ichiban & it just taste bland. e queue is very long outside, I don’t know why, perhaps it might be that there is only very little jap restaurants at e mall. Well, I won’t be going back there again.
After eating, we went to Ben and Jerry’s to have dessert. We shared a banana spilt as shown below. e surroundings is relaxing, with mini fountain sprays. Today is e start of e ghost mth. So some people were burning paper money, etc for e spirits. We headed home after eating e banana spilt. Not that good to stay out pretty late today. Hehe.
