Chinatown Food Center
My parents, me, my brother & his gf went to eat at e Chinatown food center. It is just a few mins walk from e Chinatown mrt station. I ate there before, but erm.. didn’t take a pic that time. Hehehe. There are several stalls selling e steamed fish head in hot sauce. But this stall is really nice. e kangkong & e steamed fish head in hot sauce, we bought from e stall #02-200. Oohhh.. deliciously sensational. e stingray is also good.. but e sambal is a little too much though, it is from e stall #02-197. I drank apple fruit juice, it is nice.. thick & yummy, e sugar cane too. Not like those drinks which are diluted & tasteless because they mix it with water :-p & of course.. whenever I take pics of food we were eating, I always get e words siao, bo liao, u ok or not, etc thrown at me.. -_- Plus.. there are always stares from other tables while I was trying to get a nice angle or ask my friends or family to stop attacking e food long enough for me to take e pics. Ohh... e sacrifices for gd food to be shared!!

Jack’s Place
Fri night.. I have been waiting for fri night ever since mon. Lol. Working like hell, I have to relax at least for few hours with friends right. Lol. Met up with another stressed friend who is also working in another bank. I am just a temporary staff & already quite stressful with e daily deadlines & every documents must be verified with signature. So if even a tiny bit goes wrong, people will find u, & die! But as me & my partner has already finished all e projects.. we are currently helping e permanent staff now. Our contract is on a project basis. If I am a permanent staff, I doubt I can go home on time daily.. sure will have to do overtime to meet deadlines daily.. no life.. I don’t think I would like to work in a bank after I graduate. My life is much more important & precious than just work, work & work. Another friend came too. She has just graduated from an overseas university. I am so happy for her. Hehe.
We were supposed to eat at Kushinbo at Suntec city, but we saw our secondary sch classmate & friend there, we chatted with her for almost an hr. By e time we left her, it was almost 9pm.. -_- Not worth it to eat buffet with only an hr to spare. So we quickly decided to go Jack’s place at Marina Square to have our dinner. We ran there quickly & managed to eat finish before 10pm. Hehehe. After that, we went for a night stroll along e Singapore river at e Esplanade there. Nice view of e city. Got 2 not so clear night shots from my handphone of only 2 megapixels -_- But its ok, as long e food shot is visible :-D

Tung Lok Seafood Restaurant
My little brother has to return to e army at Safti after a day out of army. Each week, he could only return home once, or none at all. He often spends more time with his girlfriend than us.. which I have to admit.. gets a little on my nerve. When we have family dinners.. she also ate with us. We don’t have much precious moments with him.. e family togetherness.. He can have e time to eat dinner with her outside & watch movies with her, or go out till late at night like 1am or so.. but does not have much time for us.. have to usually ta pao (packet food) from around our place. Its quite ironic that he didn’t treasure his family just as much, who loves him even much more than his girlfriend who knew him for only a few years.
As he did not even have e time to eat dinner at home or outside with us, we rushed to e Tung Lok Seafood Restaurant just outside of Safti to quickly eat our dinner. No time to enjoy that much, but I managed to take pics while they were tucking in. We finished our dinner, e waiting of food, etc.. all in less than an hr. -_- e dinner was expensive. One piece of pork ribs $8, but it was a big piece. e fish I think was about $40. Anyway, e total cost was almost $130. But e food was very delicious. After my mum & I hugged him goodbye, I told him: “Next time try not to spend too much time with ur gf rather than us. Don’t forget u have 3 more people in ur life.” Then we left.

Lau Pa Sat & Harry's Bar
After work, I had to run once again, rush down to meet friends. This time, at Raffles mrt station. We then proceed to walk a few mins to Lau Pa Sat to have our dinner. We enjoyed e food & e company tremendously. We ordered sambal stingray, otah, bbq prawns, rojak, hokkien mee, black carrot cake, char kway teow, chicken & mutton satay, pork ribs & pork belly. What a feast. Oohhh.. lovely. Pics are shown below. After eating, we proceeded to Harry’s bar nearby. My friend took pics of e drinks, which is much clearer than e pics from my handphone. Lol. e pic shows only 4 drinks, bailey’s irish cream, governor’s smile, madame butterfly, & apricot brandy. There are 2 more drinks, but have not arrived at e time of photo taking. Lol. Oohh.. I love Bailey’s irish cream.. Must buy e bottle then its more worth it, as at Harry’s bar, it costs $13 for only a little bit. I enjoyed e company, had a wonderful evening which I will treasure for all times :D

After work, I rushed down to queue & take e shuttle bus from comtech to harbourfront. e Hellboy 2 movie starts at 7pm. I don’t even have e luxury to pee properly. Ok, I won’t elaborate more, as not appropriate for some viewers. e trip was all a rush & a blur. Hahaha. I wore my running shoes again. It seems like a routine that whenever I go out with friends after work, have to run. I don’t think its good for me mentally.. nor physically.. *Pant Pant* & after I reach vivocity at harbourfront.. guess what.. my friends were still at Carl’s junior enjoying their makan -_- Oh man.. all e energy used for running.. & while in e shuttle bus, I was still asked to hurry, as I am going to be late.. ha..ha..ha. Lol.
e movie is so-so, not really that gd, but passable. Hehe. After e movie, we ate at e food center opposite harbourfront center. Oh man.. e fish & chips not worth it. e portion much less than e coffeeshop at my place, & it doesn’t taste as good. But well, I am famished, so be it, can’t be fussy. Lol. I drank iced horlicks.. been a long long time ever since I drank horlicks. Nice.
A friend tom pang (gave me a lift) on his bike. Oh man, I am pretty envious. I would love to have a bike of my own, cruising at night, admiring & enjoying e view, scenery while feeling e wind.. blowing across my face.. okok.. across e helmet. But this friend, he said I could only ride at most a vespar, scooter, as I am short. What the.. aaarrgghh. Well, I may not be able to ride his bike, but I am sure I can ride a mini version of it, or other mini dirt bikes, mini scrambler, all mini la.. Lol. But not those battery operated mini bikes for kids. That is a huge no no :-P

Boon Tong Kee
This evening, I went with family & my brother’s girlfriend to Boon Tong Kee chicken rice restaurant, which is located beside Boon Keng mrt station. Ordered white chicken, liver, kai lan with prawns, and sweet & sour pork. We also ordered e crab meat soup, I forgot e exact name, but e soup is also very nice. e food is overall nice. This pic shown below is err.. taken halfway through our meal.. we have already devoured half or more.. & e soup has already been polished off for quite some time. Hehehe. Sorry I couldn’t take e pic earlier.. often forgot, but always never forget to eat. Which I think is more important. Hehehe

Prata House
Went dinner at e Prata house at Springleaf garden there, along nee soon road I think. Ate with my uncle and grandma, who live nearby. Ordered thosai, paper prata, murthabak, mutton. e drink the tarik is nice. I ordered milo dinosaur. Hehehe. I ate e mutton murthabak & paper thosai, but of course, share them, as I can’t finish both. My stomach might have a big appetite, but it has its limits. Lol. Oh.. e paper prata is so crispy.. like keropok. e mutton murthabak was not bad. We also ordered papadums, like a keropok. Very delicious. Mum even bought a packet home. Hehehe. She also bought a packet for grandma, who also loves it. Gd service, nice food. But e mutton dish, just plain mutton with curry, is not that nice though. A bit rubbery & not much meat. But other than that, it is nice J I enjoyed my dinner, & e most important of all, I enjoyed e company.

Marrakesh cum Harry's Bar
After work, I rushed once again to harbourfront, then to Dhoby Ghaut to buy a gift for my friend’s birthday at Plaza singapura. Then rushed to Clarke quay to meet her & one more gal pal for dinner at Ma maison. e food.. erm.. not that nice.. but passable.. e escargots taste better at Miss clarity café. After dinner, we walked to Marrakesh,a moroccan lounge & bar, which serves Moroccan food & it also includes Harry’s bar in it. We just order drinks, chat, chill, relax, & swing on e swing bench. So fun, e ambience is cosy, wonderful. 3 of us just sat there, sipping our drinks & swing gently. Lol. It was amazing e swing bench is still intact after we left. Lol. My friend gave me Ferrero garden chocolates from Australia, which is not on sale in Singapore yet. It is really delicious. I am like.. ooohhh lala! Flavours include coconut, forest fruits, pistachio, almond, and hazelnut. I will definitely buy them when it is selling in Singapore. Here are e pics of Merakash & e Ferrero Garden..

After work, I rushed & ran to take e shuttle bus to harbourfront, then took e mrt to Tiong bahru to meet a group of friends for movie & dinner. We watched Hancock. e movie was not bad, quite ok. Was very hungry after e movie, I ate at Mos burger after that with them. No snapshots, my stomach is more important. Hehe. I was famished.. & I had used most of my energy for running.. must replenish..

Started work today at HSBC at Comtech, which is at Alexandra road. Got quite lost as to where to find e shuttle bus to comtech from harbourfront center, until I found this sweet gal from a goggle search about e shuttle bus, her blog mentioned she got lost too. So I posted on her blog asking her e directions, & she told me how to go, with specific directions. Thank you so much gal :) I deeply appreciate it. Ok, here’s where to board e shuttle bus from harbourfront center. U need to have e pass in order to board it. Anyway, at harbourfront center, walk towards e Fila shop, there is an exit beside, at Lobby A. Walk out from there to e loading bay, towards the left where e buses will wait. I think its e other side of e small road. No pass, no boarding. Lol. I saw some temp staff too. One or two of them are from my sch too. Lol. Some of our colleagues here are friendly & nice. Went to lunch with 2 of them. They intro us to e shortcuts, e different places to eat, etc. Very helpful & useful. I don’t feel so alone or scared anymore. :) Me & my partner for e job assignment, decided to treat them makan before our temporary contract end.

Astons (East Coast Road)
Went to SAFTI at Jurong, to visit my little brother, as its family visiting day. My family, his girlfriend, my cousin & aunt went too. What a crowd. Brought him lots of goodies, biscuits, cookies, etc. Lol. Plus charger, civilian clothes, etc. He was so happy when he saw us all. We visited his bunk, where he and his buddy shared a bunk. 2 people per bunk. There is their books to study, journal to write, there is even a computer & their own wardrobe. Haha. He was our tour guide, touring us around e OCS dining hall, view e SAFTI tower, etc. Was fun, & it was really great to see him after 2 weeks of confinement. Still one more wk to go before he can book out. Here are some pics I took.
After leaving e premises at about 4pm plus, we went to Astons at east coast road for dinner. My meal was a chicken & sausage combo, which includes 2 sides, which I chose pasta salad & potato salad.. mmm.. yummy.. e hickory chicken was a tad too sweet for my liking though.. I do prefer e sides. Hahaha. One of e sides, baked potato, is always sold out. e last time I was there, baked potato was also sold out. :-P
